The Honour Bar at Orange Hill
The bar at Orange Hill is a special place, where you meet with, and make new friends. Make yourself at home and unwind. The bar is attached to the lobby and dining area with garden seating outside to take in a turquoise sunset and stunning ocean view.
The bar is open during daytime hours and closes at 11 p.m. Guests simply fill out the daily honor bar sheet when they order or make a drink.
The bar and restaurant area has played host to many parties, including wedding receptions, christening and birthday parties.
Current prices are $5 for mixed drinks, wine, and beer; and $2 for sodas and juice. Prices are exclusive of 12 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT).
Orange Hill Restaurant
We have a quaint family style restaurant here at the hotel. Breakfast is served each morning from 7:30 until 10 a.m. and lunch from noon until 2:45 p.m.
Dinner is served from 6 until 8:30 p.m. We usually serve dinner seven nights a week but will post in advance if there will be a closed night.
For breakfast, the selection includes eggs, buttermilk pancakes, omelets, French toast, assorted cold cereals and a variety of side orders. We also offer a local favorite, tuna & grits with lime and pepper. Prices range from $7 to $10 for breakfast entrees, toast and cereal options start at about $3.50.
The lunch menu includes a variety of deli sandwiches, hot dogs, & burgers with prices between $5.50 and $7. There are also garden and chef salad options.
Year after year our guests have enjoyed home-cooked Bahamian and international dishes with the dinner offering being a constant source of fanfare. A sample evening menu may offer Bahamian Steamed Lamb Chops, Spaghetti Bolognese, BBQ Chicken or Ribs, Grouper Stuffed with Crab, Curry Beef or one of our special Bahamian Combos – Beef, Ribs, Chicken, or a Bahamian Lobster Tail.
Dinner entrees range between $14 and $24 for the most part, with lobster and seafood combo options being higher.
All prices are in USD/BD and are exclusive of 12 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT) and 15% gratuity.
